Football.

I think I’m drawn to the sport because of the physical demand, the teamwork, and honestly the hitting. Football players are some of the greatest athletes out there. Football makes you push your limits because in football you have to be fast, Strong, Agile, and in great shape. If you’re not in good shape you will not only succeed but you will have a much greater chance of getting injured.
It may sound bad or savage but it’s true that part of the reason I like football is because there is hitting in it. I don’t know really why I like it but I do. I think football is a healthy way for kids to get out there aggression this isn’t to say that I would be hitting people I see on the street but it is a good outlet for me and others.
To me a football team is like a machine because when you play every person has to do there job for the team to succeed. Because of this as well as the fact that you are actually protecting each other I think that a football team becomes family even if you don’t like someone or they don’t like you when you step on the field you are brothers.
I started playing football in second grade. It was only flag I had no idea of how football works. I only knew the name of one position and I was certain the right way to catch the ball was with your chest. Really the only thing I knew about it was I wanted to play and I wanted to be good. I had played basketball and t- ball before this and I was pretty good at catching but I was also a big kid so they put me at tight end. I caught two touchdowns that season.
The next season I was playing with a lot of kids that were a year older than me and initially I didn't start on either side of the ball. I worked hard that season because I really cared and wanted to succeed. Part way through the season I took someones spot on offensive line and eventually on defense. That was my last time not starting on offense or defense.
From third grade onward I have always played offensive and defensive line but I am I am switching to play more linebacker and tight end. Whatever position I am playing I will always adore football.

  3. Hello ball-in like a sphere is my life dawg,
I love your writing style, It kept me interested throughout. I enjoyed hearing(or reading) how your hard work really payed off. I enjoy playing football, although because of the danger of being hit extremely hard, I don't play tackle football. However, I played on flag football teams. And the feeling of scoring was something great.
What is the best feeling of success in your football career?

The best feeling in me career was probably last season in the first round of the playoffs when I got a strip sack and recovered the ball to help us get the ball back and score and win.

I liked the way you talk about how you started football a long time a go, and you didn't start on your team. But after a while of putting in hard work, you were able to start on the offensive line. I also really liked how you talked about how your team is like your family. I was wondering, what is your favorite position to play?

My favorie position is probably linebacker I play it about half the time and I like it because you get to lead your team hit in the back field as well as play pass coverage.

I really like how passionate you are about football. I like how in you blog you went way back to where it all began in 2nd grade. When you started football were you good at first or did it take time?

I loved how you talk about having an outlet to put your anger into! I think it's important for kids to have something like that. I was wondering how your parents felt about you wanting to pursue football at first? Were they nervous?

I think they were pretty chill when I started my mom might have been hesitant. I have always been bigger then my peers so they knew I would be the one giving the hits and not receiving them.

I thought your blog post was very interesting. I also really love sports, but I don't really follow football. Have you ever thought about the injuries and brain damage (from concussions) that could be caused by football?
    Thanks,

Thank you for sharing your opinion on football. I know close to nothing about football and I come from a non contact sport so it's cool for you to clearly tell about football.

Umm I think that one of the greatest parts about football that you don't get in a lot of sports is the fact that it is truly a contact sport and it might make football players look bad but I love the contact.
